Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT)

Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments according to physician orders.
• Ability to cross-train in cardio-related areas such as EKG, Stress tests, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, and EEGs.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Block scheduling is not available; must work as needed without accommodation requests.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of requested time off allowed.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5 years of current experience as an RRT (higher experience requirement takes precedence).
• Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist License in good standing.
• Active RRT Certification through The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.

Additional Information

• CRTs (Certified Respiratory Therapists) will not be considered.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• All scheduling requests and time off must be included with the application; no changes allowed after offer or during interview.
