Physical Therapist - Oncology
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- This position is specifically for an Oncology Physical Therapist with required oncology experience.
- Evaluate and treat patients with cancer-related impairments such as pain, fatigue, lymphedema, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based exercise programs and provide patient education.
- Coordinate care with oncologists and manage musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs across the cancer continuum—from diagnosis to rehabilitation, survivorship, and palliative care.
- Typical patient load includes 2 to 3 evaluations per day (60 minutes each) and multiple treatment sessions (30 minutes each), treating one patient at a time.
- Patient population is typically adult but experience with all age groups is welcome.
- Use of standard PT modalities (e.g., Estim, Ultrasound) expected; device-specific training will be provided.
- Dress code: personal scrubs or business casual (athleisure/stretchy clothing allowed, but no leggings or crop tops). No open-toe or backless shoes.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of current Physical Therapy experience (No new graduates).
- Oncology Physical Therapy experience is required.
- Outpatient Orthopedic experience required.
- Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.
Licenses & Certifications
- Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy license (or Compact license) must be in hand at profile upload.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
Skills & Systems
- Experience with EPIC and Expro systems required.

- Must have own vehicle for the assignment.
- Permanent address must be included in the profile.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no scheduling accommodations or block scheduling allowed.
- No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted during the assignment.
- Travelers without voicemail set up on their phones will be redirected.

- No non-billable orientation.
- Holiday and overtime multipliers apply.
- This assignment does not allow working concurrently with another permanent placement or travel assignment.
