Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and PET CT procedures using radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals under physician or senior technologist supervision.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body parts.
- Must be trained in venipuncture.
- Familiarity with EPIC, Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology is required.
- Perform all activities in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Massachusetts.
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience with Epic software.
