Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient (Days)
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
This position is for an Orthopaedic Registered Nurse in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves caring for adults and children with musculoskeletal conditions including fractures, sprains, arthritis, sports injuries, and post-surgical care. Responsibilities include patient education, creating personalized care plans, and supporting rehabilitation efforts before and after surgery.
The unit is small and rural, requiring the nurse to work independently and efficiently from day one. A significant portion of the role involves phone triage.
Required Experience & Skills
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of clinic experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in outpatient and ambulatory care settings
- At least 2 years of current triage experience, including phone triage
- Orthopedics experience
Licenses & Certifications
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required)

- Must have own vehicle for this assignment
- Permanent address must be included in profile

- Phone voicemail must be set up and reachable for communication
Work Environment & Dress Code
- Small outpatient orthopaedic clinic
- Personal scrubs of any color allowed
- No non-billable orientation time
