MRI Tech - Radiology
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Job Description
Seeking an MRI Technologist to join a multi-modality imaging unit. The facility is a high-acuity hospital with advanced imaging services including MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures. The unit uses GE equipment and Cerner EMR.
Unit Information
- Staff on unit: 9
- Day Shift example staffing: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
- Equipment: GE MRI systems
- EMR system: Cerner
- Dress code: Black scrubs
- Weekend schedule: Rotating weekends
- On-call: Rotating weekends
Typical Procedures
- MRI Contrast and Non-Contrast imaging
- Breast MRI experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- BLS Certification
- HHCCA - De-Escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Breast MRI
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be MRI registered to be considered.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
