Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 36 weeks
Job Description
- Provide emergency nursing care including diagnosis, treatment, stabilization, and transfer of patients with a wide range of medical emergencies such as trauma, burns, heart attacks, poisonings, and violence-related injuries.
- Work in a 24/7 staffed emergency department with 25 beds, including triage rooms, treatment rooms, trauma rooms, pediatric and psychiatric rooms, and a dedicated decontamination area.
- Prioritize care based on patient criticality.
- Facility emphasizes a quiet, private, and family-friendly environment with modern amenities.
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license.
- Certifications:
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience of at least 3 months is required (non-negotiable).
- Experience working in rural or small facility settings is required.
- Preferred:
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification is highly preferred.
- Must have own vehicle for transportation.
Additional Requirements & Notes
- No schedule accommodations or block scheduling allowed; all requested time off must be submitted and approved at the time of application. No requests after offer acceptance will be approved.
- Maximum of 5 days requested time off during the assignment; less is preferred.
- Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
- Travelers must have voicemail set up and be reachable by phone during the application process.
- Must include permanent address in profile submission.
- No concurrent permanent or travel assignments allowed.

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses who have prior travel experience and are comfortable working in a rural hospital setting with a focus on trauma and emergency care.
