Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and implement patient and family education, and initiate appropriate interventions. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, individualized care planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice in accordance with professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in Montana
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associate degree, or Diploma
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
- 1 year circulating experience
- 1 year scrub experience

Stroke Competency
- Comply with policies and protocols related to hyperacute and acute stroke care
- Complete 2 hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
- Participate in 1 hour of annual cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
Shift Details
- Variable day shifts with call
- Flexibility to cover all shifts is required
Additional Information
- Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
- Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
