Description

Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Location: Tyler, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Every 4th weekend
  • Call rotation approximately every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend
  • Call includes up to 6 hours of work on Saturdays for scheduled inpatient procedures

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Travel experience preferred (not required)

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Charting System

  • Epic

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Background and Compliance Requirements

  • 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Education verification (highest level) required
  • Employment and work history verification for the past 7 years
  • Various internal compliance documents and attestations required prior to start

Additional Notes

  • Candidates residing in certain Texas counties are not eligible for this travel assignment (counties include Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris)
  • Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
  • References and employment application required internally but not mandatory for clearance

This position offers a structured schedule with call responsibilities and requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience with preferred travel experience. Candidates must maintain current certifications and meet comprehensive health and compliance standards.
