Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Weston, Florida

Job Description

• Position: Registered Nurse in Emergency Room (ER)
• Schedule Options: Flexible 3x12-hour shifts or 4x12-hour shifts
• Weekend shifts: As needed
• On-call: Not required
• Floating: May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedule accommodation: Not available
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12 shifts, 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• Electronic Health Record system experience required (Epic at level 3 or 4) with priority on time-sensitive modules

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record system

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify documentation
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting accepted nationwide)
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references within 2 years of start date
• Pass/fail testing on EKG and pharmacology during orientation
• Completion of online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome)
• Compliance with facility privacy policies and acknowledgements
• Must carry photo ID during working hours

• This is a smoke-free facility; nicotine use is strictly prohibited
• Candidates must complete all required documentation and certifications prior to start
• Onboarding and training modules are time-sensitive and must be prioritized
• Floating may be required as needed within the scope of practice
