Job Summary

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Operating Room procedures with proficiency in C-arm and O-arm coverage. The role involves performing X-ray procedures in surgical settings across outpatient, inpatient, and Level I Trauma environments.

Work Schedule

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (4x10)
• 2nd shift starting at 10am or 11am
• On-call responsibilities required

Responsibilities

• Provide C-arm and O-arm imaging coverage in the Operating Room
• Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Radiologic Technologist certification with ARRT registration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience

• Work settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, Operating Room, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital
• Experience with surgical X-ray procedures and C-arm imaging

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and state fingerprinting
• Monthly monitoring through federal exclusion lists (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
• Education accreditation verification for Radiologic Technologist certification
• Ohio BCI & FBI fingerprinting required with specific state codes and timelines
• Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending
• Annual review and acknowledgment of dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance policies

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
• Immunizations and/or titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (adult dose after age 11/12)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titers)
  • Hepatitis B titer or vaccine series (declination acceptable)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer; medical exemptions reviewed)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31) with mask requirement if declined
• COVID-19 vaccination not required but strongly recommended

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager or formal leader
• Employment application and skills checklist required prior to start
• Unit-specific competency exams and ongoing certification renewals may be required
