Physical Therapist Travel Job - Independence, Missouri

Job Details

Discipline: Physical Therapy (PT)
Employment Type: Travel
Location: Independence, Missouri
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Unit Information

Acute care beds: 285
Inpatient rehab beds: 16
Patient ratio: 12:1
Unit staffing includes rehab tech support
Equipment: Safe patient handling and standard rehab equipment
Documentation system: Meditech
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 eight-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 1 weekend every 6 weeks (flexible off days if working weekend)
Floating: May cover both acute care and rehab units
On-call: Not required

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk training
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience in a Rehabilitation setting

Job Responsibilities

Perform patient evaluations and treatments

Dress Code

Eggplant colored scrubs
