Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Alabaster, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
- Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 - 07:15)
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend and as needed
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: May float to like units within a 25-mile radius as needed
- Patient Type: Acute Care and Intermediate Acute Care
- Unit Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6 (variable)
- EMR System: Epic
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- NCI (Neuro Critical Care Institute)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience (minimum 2 years), including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- NCI certification
- CPI certification
Work Environment & Dress Code
- Unit: 4-Medical floor, 21 beds
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Dress Code: Strict adherence to dress code policy; no unacceptable attire
