Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• Current and valid MRI certification (ARRT MR)
• Valid Driver’s License and a utility bill in the candidate’s name with matching address dated within the last 3 months (address must be >75 miles from facility)
• Must be able to work night shifts (3x12)
• Must be able to float within scope as needed
• Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (as applicable)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background, education verification, and various federal/state sanction screenings required
• Physical exam and health documents including immunizations and drug screening required
• Must complete facility-specific orientation and competency exams prior to or upon start
• Must comply with facility policies including HIPAA, OSHA, and drug-free workplace requirements

Important Notes

• Candidates must submit a valid Driver’s License with their application
• No more than 5 days of Return to Office (RTO) will be accepted
• Candidates without recent Epic experience (within 6 months) will be required to attend Epic training prior to receiving schedule
• Fit testing (N95 mask) will be completed onsite on the first day
• Various competency exams and annual updates are required, including medication, dysrhythmia/EKG, core safety, and others depending on unit assignment
• Immunization requirements include but are not limited to: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, TB testing, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu vaccine, and COVID vaccination or declination form
• Drug screening includes a 10-panel test with marijuana included for tests after 2/22/2024
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a direct supervisor within the last year
• Employment history verification covering the last 10 years is required, including explanations for any gaps greater than 30 days
• Candidates must complete all facility-specific documents and acknowledgments prior to start
