Respiratory Therapist (Temp)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical respiratory care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Local candidates are not eligible; candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Orientation occurs weekly, every Monday.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week (overtime billable after 40 hours).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license required at time of submission.
• Active Iowa Respiratory Therapist license required; if not active, proof of application for Iowa single state license must be provided at offer acceptance.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapist discipline required.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Information

• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Night shift differential: 16 hours.
