Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a hospital laboratory setting with approximately 330 beds.
• Unit equipment includes chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and front-end STAT microbiology analyzers.
• Documentation system used: Softlab.
• Schedule: Overnight shifts, every other weekend; 3rd shift, 4 nights per week, 9pm-7am.
• Overnight shifts staffed with 2-3 techs; travelers will have support from experienced permanent staff.
• Dress code: Scrubs or business casual; lab coats provided.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year.
• National certification required (ASCP or AMT).
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science, Biomedical Science, or an equivalent field.

Skills and Procedures

• Requested skill set includes laboratory work, quality control, calibrations, and microscope work.
• No advanced skills or specific procedures required beyond standard lab duties.
