Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Night shift position
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• Typical hours: 36-40 hours/week (overtime billable after 40 hours)
• Orientation available on scheduled dates

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois required (Iowa license also accepted)
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines required
• Medication experience required with: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban (some titration involved)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed preferred

Additional Information

• Not eligible if employed by this health system within the last 12 months
• Facility is a Level 1 trauma center
• Shift: Nights
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
