Dietitian Travel/Contract Job in South Carolina

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), with experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work (I9, E-Verify)
• Background check within 12 months, including 7-year history and alias searches
• Ongoing monthly federal sanction checks (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
• Primary source verification of state license (no pending actions; must be current within 30 days of start)
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet job demands
• Drug screening within 1 year, updated annually (5-panel minimum)
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start (True 2-step PPD, QF Gold, or Tspot)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years if working/floating in high-risk areas
  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption required annually (not required for remote workers)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (second vaccine can be pending if collected within 28 days)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series, positive titer, or signed declination
• Badge photo meeting facility specifications (passport style, light background, no obstructions)
• Completion of online orientation modules within 72 hours of assignment
• Pre-assignment testing (medication and competency exams) with 2 attempts allowed; must be completed prior to start
• Floating policy acknowledgment (annual)
• HIPAA and OSHA training acknowledgment (annual)
• Other certifications as applicable to unit assignment (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP) – check unit requirements

• Candidates must have a stable internet connection and use a PC (no tablets or phones) for online testing
• Testing and orientation modules are time-sensitive and must be completed within specified timeframes
• Respirator fit testing will be completed onsite during orientation (N95 masks commonly used)
