Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

• Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF)
• Noninvasive ventilation support
• Cardiothoracic surgery patients post-ICU
• Administration of antiarrhythmic IV medications
• Management of peripheral vascular compromise
• 33-bed cardiovascular care unit
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown Unit (SDU) nursing experience
• Ability to float to Medical/Surgical or Emergency Room to cover Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU) and Med Surg holds
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma
• Required certifications (specific certifications not listed, but must be current or active)
• Flexibility with scheduling; no block scheduling
• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
