Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Beds: 2 Labs
- Staff: 8 total (4 RNs, 4 Techs on day shift)
- Night Shift: On call
- On Call Requirement: 12-15 days per month
- Floating: As needed
- Equipment: GE Innova Fluoroscopy Tables
- EMR System: Meditech
- Call Response Time: Must be within 30 minutes of facility
Typical Procedures
- Left/Right Heart Catheterization
- Peripheral Angiograms
- Coronary/Peripheral Atherectomy
- Interventional Radiology (ports, permcaths, embolizations)
- Impella and Balloon Pump insertion
- STEMI interventions
- Pulmonary Embolism Thrombectomy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
- Current Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Familiarity with GE Maclab/Cardiolab monitoring systems

- Willingness to pick up call shifts
