Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Rotating
Hours per Day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will provide and manage patient care within the Radiologic Technology discipline. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work Schedule & Orientation
- Typical workweek: 36-40 hours; overtime billable after 40 hours
- Orientation dates available from April through November 2026
- Call back and on-call opportunities with additional compensation multipliers
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system (required)
- Proficiency with imaging equipment including DR, OEC C-Arm, 3D C-Arm, GE Elite C-Arm, and O-Arm
- ARRT certification required
- Valid state Radiologic Technologist license (Iowa license accepted; compact license allowed)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application
- Work history/resume and license verification
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission
- Copy of required certifications
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate adjustment)
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of at least one prior travel contract
Additional Information
- Average patient volume: approximately 15 patients per day
- Not eligible if employed by the facility within the last 12 months
- Must provide proof of taxable address via one of several acceptable documents (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement, voter registration)
This position offers a professional environment with opportunities to work across multiple trauma centers of varying levels.
