Description
Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: 4th Floor
- Number of Beds: 34
- Patient Ratio: 6:1
- Unit Staffing: Unit Secretary on dayshift, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) on all shifts
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts), with 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
- Floating Policy: May float to other departments based on need
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
- HHCCA ECG Curriculum
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Unit is Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center certified
- Procedures and advanced skills relevant to Med Surg unit
- Candidates should be prepared for weekend work and floating as needed
