Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM, every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Unit Information
- Department: Respiratory Therapy
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Procedures Performed:
- Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Assist with intubation
- Nebulizer treatment
- Metaneb
- Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing (IPPB)
- Chest Physiotherapy (CPT)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Texas
- Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience, including experience within the last year
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Servo I ventilator
- Experience with I-Stat
Dress Code and Appearance Guidelines
- Black scrubs required (must be purchased)
- Nails must be clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
- Hair must be neat and clean; pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
- Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings)

- Floating and attendance policies will be followed as per company guidelines
