Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech

Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • First-time travelers are accepted.
  • Must be willing to float to General OR cases.
  • The unit performs all surgical specialties except transplant in a 13-room OR.
  • Special equipment includes 2 Xi DaVinci Robots.
  • Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist.
  • CVOR Technologist experience within the last year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification.

Additional Notes

  • Perioperative/OR allied travelers from Indiana are exempt from certain state restrictions effective 11/30/24.
  • On-site fit testing is limited and must be approved if required.
  • Must complete all required facility-specific forms and orientation packets prior to start.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
