Description

Echo Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel


Job Summary

  • Work in the Echo Department performing all modes of echocardiography including:
    • Echocardiograms
    • Transesophageal Echocardiograms
    • Dobutamine Stress Echos
    • Contrast Echocardiograms
    • Bubble Studies
  • Schedule includes four 9-hour shifts per week with weekend and holiday rotation in accordance with facility policy.
  • Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist, with experience within the last year.
  • Certifications required:
    • ARDMS or CCI certification
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Work Environment & Equipment

  • Unit uses GE E95 echocardiography equipment.
  • Documentation system: Meditech/Centricity.
  • Dress code: Scrubs required.

  • Facility is a 313-bed hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and Level II Trauma Center.
