Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 7:00)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics for a travel/contract position. Weekend and floating shifts may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year
- Current NBRC certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certifications (Additional, if applicable)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only for RRTs working in the Emergency Department.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required only for RRTs working in NICU/Pediatric specialties.
Work Environment and Expectations
- May be required to float to other facilities within the system.
- Weekend shifts as needed.
- Badge pickup and fingerprinting onsite required after completing training modules.
- Must submit all required certifications and documentation with application.
- Candidates working with pediatric patients will complete fingerprinting onsite as part of onboarding.
Notes
- Locals are accepted at the same rate.
- All work history, including any previous positions within the system, must be included in the profile.
- Background checks and certain compliance documents are required monthly on the 15th during assignment.
- Candidates must complete all onboarding and compliance requirements prior to start.
This position is ideal for experienced RRTs licensed in Ohio seeking a travel contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare system.
