Description
Registered Nurse (ER) - Contract Position
Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Contract
Job Description
- Work as an RN covering Emergency Room (ER), Acute Care, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas in a small critical access hospital with no separate units.
- When assigned to the ER and no patients are present, provide backup support in acute and LTC areas.
- When assigned to medication administration, responsible for passing meds and performing procedures for both LTC and acute patients.
- Facility is not latex-free.
- Hours are not guaranteed.
- Schedule: Six 12-hour shifts (72 hours) over a two-week period, with every third weekend off.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is required for this position.
