Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Shift Length: 12 hours per day
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work primarily in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings.

Schedule & Hours

• 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.
• Night shift with 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Illinois state nursing license required; Iowa license also accepted.
• Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application.
• License verification and copy of required certifications.
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.

Clinical Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• Experience managing chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines.
• Medication knowledge including titration of: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban.

• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
