Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown (Days)
Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Experience with chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines.
- Familiarity with medication titration including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification.
- Required certifications.
- One supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac and open heart experience.
- Completion of at least one prior travel nursing contract.
Additional Information
- Not eligible if employed by the facility within the last 12 months.
- Call back pay and holiday/overtime multipliers apply.
- Facility is a Level 1 trauma center.
- Orientation schedule provided for planning purposes.
