Job Description

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
• Follow established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Required Onboarding and Compliance Credentials

• Professional headshot photo (color, recent within 6 months, plain background, no eyeglasses).
• Primary source verification of professional license and certifications.
• N95 respirator fit test completed within 365 days prior to start and updated annually (no onsite fit testing; must use specific form).
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation.
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity.
• Tuberculosis (TB) screening: documentation of TB skin test or negative blood test within 3 months of start date; updated if break in service exceeds 6 months.
• Physician health statement dated within 365 days of start.
• Criminal background check including Massachusetts CORI and SSN trace covering the past 7 years.
• National sex offender registry check.
• Exclusion checks against federal and state healthcare exclusion lists.
• Verification of highest level of education.
• Submission of a detailed resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Two professional references within the last 4 years, including at least one supervisor.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
• Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for any extensions.

Optional but Preferred

• Hepatitis B vaccination record or proof of immunity (or declination).
