Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - SSSU/PACU
Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Short Stay Surgery Unit (SSSU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Float across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and support hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures.
- Perform nursing assessments, peri-operative education, and care.
- Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Additional Information
- Immediate start preferred.
- Prior travel experience is not required.
