Job Opportunity: Technologist - Cath Lab (Days)
Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
- Patients/scans per day: approximately 4
- Equipment used: Artis Zee C-arm, Impella, IABP, Acist Injector
- Types of procedures: peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, pacemaker procedures
- Scrubs provided (light blue)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab
- Prior travel experience required: must have completed at least 1 travel contract in the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)
- Proficient with fluoroscopy
- Comfortable and experienced with peripheral and coronary angiography cases
- Comfortable and experienced with PCI and pacemaker procedures
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed applicants may apply but must obtain license upon offer acceptance
- Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath discipline required
- Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred
Additional Information
- Orientation dates available
- Experience with Maquet IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS highly preferred
- Must be comfortable working with the listed equipment and procedures
This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Technologists with recent travel contract experience looking for a temporary assignment in Iowa.
