Description

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Stroke Unit)

Location: Crestview, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6 PM - 6 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a Medical-Surgical Stroke Unit (2S)
Must have experience with stroke patients and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments
Position requires working night shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience with stroke patients and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
AHCA certification required for all Florida travelers

Additional Information

Stroke and NIHSS experience must be included in the application submission
Position start date is ASAP

Note: This role does not specify a requirement for prior travel experience.
