Description
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)
Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Emergency Department with 54 beds
- Staff includes approximately 125 members
- Night shift staffing example: 2 Charge nurses, 8 RNs, 5 Paramedics
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 1.5 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with ED experience within the last year
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Skills and Experience
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred
- Team player personality fit
Typical Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in the Emergency Department
Work Schedule and Environment
- 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
- Rotating weekends required
- Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
