Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation (Acute)

Job Description

  • Provide evaluation and re-evaluation of assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient acute rehabilitation settings.
  • Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
  • Independently manage a full caseload and regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
  • Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements.
  • Work may include Hawaii State and Federal holidays as needed.
  • Use department equipment and electronic medical records systems including Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
  • Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Hawaii
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
  • Experience working with adult patients
  • Experience in outpatient and acute care settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross

Additional Information

  • Timely arrival before the start date is mandatory to complete onboarding requirements.
