Description
Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Labor & Delivery / Antepartum)
Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: Weekend every other weekend
Unit & Work Environment
- Unit: Antepartum (19 beds)
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Documentation Systems: Meditech & CPIN (Primary)
- Floating: As needed
- Newly renovated Women’s Services Unit
- Scheduling: Shifts scheduled to fill vacancies; holiday requirements discussed during interview
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with High Risk patients in OB/GYN settings
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification
- Experience managing Magnesium Sulfate therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified)
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
Patient Population & Skills
- High acuity obstetrical patients
- High Risk Obstetrical experience required (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum)
Dress Code & Appearance Guidelines
- Scrubs: Blue Insignia Scrubs required
- Nails: Clean and healthy; no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
- Hair: Neat, clean, no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Facial Hair: Clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
- Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible nose, tongue, or other piercings

- Attendance policy follows company-wide standards
