Description
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology
Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Information
- Unit: Cath Lab (IR Radiology)
- Location: 1st Floor, Main Building
- Beds/Rooms: 4 Procedure Rooms, 6 Holding Rooms
- Staff: 16 total (Day shift includes Manager, Supervisor, 15 RNs and CVTs; Night shift is call team)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 during procedures, 3:1 in holding
- Equipment: EMR system (Meditech), MacLab
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in Interventional Cardiac, Structural Heart, Interventional Neuro, Peripheral Vascular, and IR/Special Procedures
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Participate in 24/7 full call team coverage with two call teams at all times
- Dress code: Scrubs provided by hospital
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- Cath Lab experience as an RN, including Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Experience with Interventional Radiology, Cardiac, IR/Neuro, and Radiology procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IR/Special Procedures is highly desirable
- Energetic, outgoing, and friendly personality fit

- No floating to other areas required
