Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

  • Miami, Florida

Employment Type

  • Travel contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Hours per week: 36

Unit Information

  • Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
  • Facility type: Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Unit uses advanced respiratory equipment including High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Floating policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors performing nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
  • Experience working with Neonate patients
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases
  • Utilize advanced respiratory technologies and medication delivery systems
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
