Cath Lab Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Stuart, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Licensure & Compliance
- Active, valid RN license for Florida required (no pending licenses accepted)
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
- Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting accepted nationwide)
- Background checks: 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks required and must be updated annually
- Physical exam within 6 months of start required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Required immunizations/vaccinations or documented immunity:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Seasonal influenza vaccine required during flu season (medical/religious exemptions allowed with approved documentation)
- COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption required
Health & Safety Requirements
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no Florida Medical Marijuana card accepted)
- Must comply with smoke-free facility policy (nicotine-free)
- Must complete all required health documents and attestations prior to start
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references within 2 years of start required
- Employment application required
- Skills checklist must be updated annually
- Pass/Fail testing on EKG and medication administered during orientation (2 attempts allowed per test)
- Must acknowledge and comply with facility privacy policies and safety manuals
Notes
- Time-sensitive online modules must be completed prior to start; delays are not permitted
- Floating may require coverage at multiple nearby hospitals within 20 miles
- Facility issues radiation badges if applicable
- Candidates with prior travel experience are accepted but not required
- Locals accepted at same pay rate as travelers
