Description

Registered Nurse (Operating Room) - Travel Position

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Unit Information

  • Operating Room with 10 ORs, part of a 330-bed hospital
  • Approximately 50 staff members
  • Day Shift staffed by RNs, STs, UAs; Night Shift covered by call team
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Equipment includes DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Altera

Typical Procedures

  • Orthopedics (including total joints)
  • Robotics
  • General Surgery
  • Gynecology
  • Urology
  • Vascular and Endovascular procedures
  • Basic cranial/neuro procedures

Work Schedule & Call

  • Assigned stay-late call during the week
  • Occasional overnight call on Fridays and Saturdays
  • Holiday coverage as needed (PRN)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Hampshire
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • Experience in Orthopedics
  • Experience in Urology
  • Experience in Neurology

Preferred Experience

  • Orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology
  • Neuro experience preferred for call coverage

  • Dress code: Scrubs provided by the OR
