Description
Registered Nurse (Operating Room) - Travel Position
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Operating Room with 10 ORs, part of a 330-bed hospital
- Approximately 50 staff members
- Day Shift staffed by RNs, STs, UAs; Night Shift covered by call team
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment includes DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump
- Electronic Medical Record system: Altera
Typical Procedures
- Orthopedics (including total joints)
- Robotics
- General Surgery
- Gynecology
- Urology
- Vascular and Endovascular procedures
- Basic cranial/neuro procedures
Work Schedule & Call
- Assigned stay-late call during the week
- Occasional overnight call on Fridays and Saturdays
- Holiday coverage as needed (PRN)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Experience in Orthopedics
- Experience in Urology
- Experience in Neurology
Preferred Experience
- Orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology
- Neuro experience preferred for call coverage
