Medical Lab Technician - Travel/Contract
Location: Carmel, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shifts: Alternating shifts primarily on second shift (14:00-22:30 & 23:00-07:30), Monday-Friday with rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend)
- Hours:
- 8 and 10 hour shifts totaling 40 hours/week
- Option for 3 twelve-hour shifts (36 hours/week) or 4 twelve-hour shifts (48 hours/week)
- Work sites: Must be able to travel daily between three hospital locations within the region and work independently at all sites
- Unit: Full-service hospital with cancer center for adults and children; 150 beds with 24/7 ER
- Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care
Required Qualifications
- Medical Lab Technician with at least 1 year of experience
- Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
Health Requirements
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months
- Tuberculosis screening (PPD, QuantiFERON-TB Gold, or T-SPOT) within 1 year
- Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella (chickenpox)
- Hepatitis B (series, titer, or signed declination)
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (9/30 - 3/31); medical or religious exemptions require approval
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination strongly recommended
- Fit mask testing within 12 months (N95 or approved respirators) unless exempted by position
- Physical exam within 12 months of start date
