Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Main Operating Room with 23 OR beds
Staff includes approximately 70 team members
Day shift staffing example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters
Patient ratio: 1:1
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Typical procedures: Elective surgeries including Orthopedics/Spine, Cardiovascular, General Surgery, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
No trauma cases handled on this unit

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Current certifications: ACLS and BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Acute Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or knowledge in Orthopedics/Spine and Cardiovascular procedures

Work Environment & Culture

Additional Notes

Candidates must have at least 1 current hospital acute care OR experience to be considered
