Description
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of oncology experience, including oncology experience within the last year.
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Experience in an inpatient setting.
- Experience in charge nurse roles.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to administer chemotherapy if needed.
- Skills in accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, and chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac).
