Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Role involves scrubbing and circulating in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
- Call requirements vary by specialty area:
- Vascular: 7 to 10 days on call including weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Hearts: 10 to 15 days on call including 2 weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Call frequency depends on staffing levels.
- Locals accepted if residing over 50 miles from the facility.
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- Call details to be discussed during the interview.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CVOR Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification valid at start.
