Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work primarily in Med Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings.
- Use EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Orientation sessions available on multiple upcoming dates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of step-down nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
- License verification.
- Copies of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- Ability to float to Emergency Department (ED).
- Willingness to work up to 48 hours per week.
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Overtime billable after 40 hours per week.
- Holiday and call-back pay multipliers apply.
- Charge and precepting pay available.
- On-call pay provided.
