Job Opportunity: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant

Work Schedule
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Call requirement: 12-18 days per month
- Weekend requirement: 2-3 weekends per month
- Float requirement: Provide general department first assistant coverage including ortho, vascular, gynecology, thoracic, and general surgeries when cardiac cases are not applicable
Job Description
- Must be able to independently and proficiently harvest veins endoscopically in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
- Scrub required
- Must have experience with 3s or 4s in vein harvesting and cardiac areas
- CVOR experience is required
- Will accept Surgical First Assistant (SFA) or Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
- 5 years of experience strongly preferred
- Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Required Qualifications
- First Assist Technician with at least 1 year of experience
- First Assist Technician experience within the last year
