Job Opportunity: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant

Work Schedule

Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Call requirement: 12-18 days per month
Weekend requirement: 2-3 weekends per month
Float requirement: Provide general department first assistant coverage including ortho, vascular, gynecology, thoracic, and general surgeries when cardiac cases are not applicable

Job Description

Must be able to independently and proficiently harvest veins endoscopically in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Scrub required
Must have experience with 3s or 4s in vein harvesting and cardiac areas
CVOR experience is required
Will accept Surgical First Assistant (SFA) or Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
5 years of experience strongly preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred

Required Qualifications

First Assist Technician with at least 1 year of experience
First Assist Technician experience within the last year
