Registered Nurse (Sleep Clinic, Wellness Way)

Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient and family education.
• Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Practice modified primary nursing.
• Participate in stroke care education and comply with related policies.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Four 9-hour day shifts per week
• No nights or weekends required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Montana
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of ambulatory care experience, with experience within the last year
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient clinic experience
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach above shoulder level repeatedly
• Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders
• Continuous fine finger movements and close visual acuity
• Ability to push/pull with upper extremities repeatedly

Work Environment Exposures

• Bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
• Radiation exposure in medical imaging areas
• Chemicals, medications, cleaning products, and disinfectants
• Emotionally challenging situations involving patients and families

Additional Information

• The facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
• Regular and sustained attendance is required, with potential for working beyond 40 hours per week and on-call duties.

Experience

• No explicit years of experience required beyond licensure and certifications.
• Prior travel experience is not indicated as a requirement.
