Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Rotating)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Rotating
Hours per Day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Provide professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
  • Average patient volume: approximately 15 patients per day.
  • Equipment experience required: DR, OEC C-Arm, 3D C-Arm, GE Elite C-Arm.
  • Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Work Schedule & Requirements

  • 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
  • Summer holidays: required to work 1-2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
  • Orientation start date: June 1, 2026.
  • Night and weekend shifts as part of rotating schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
  • At least 1 prior travel contract completed (preferred).
  • Valid ARRT certification.
  • State licensure valid in Iowa (compact license allowed).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application.
  • License verification and copies of required certifications.
  • One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
  • Work history/resume required.
  • Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate adjustment).

Additional Information

  • Not eligible if employed by the facility within the last 12 months.
  • Call-back and on-call shifts may be required.
  • Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply (details available upon request).
  • Must be able to provide proof of taxable address via acceptable documents such as utility bill, lease agreement, or voter registration.

This position is ideal for experienced Radiologic Technologists seeking a temporary assignment with rotating shifts and exposure to advanced imaging equipment in a hospital setting.
