Location: Minot, North Dakota
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)

Job Description

• Perform Nuclear Medicine studies, including preparation, measurement, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under Radiologist direction.
• Conduct quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment following hospital policies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols for handling, use, and disposal of radioactive materials.
• Organize daily workflow to ensure efficient and timely completion of ordered exams.
• Work primarily involves standard imaging procedures; experience with stress tests, HIDA, Bone scans, and PET/CT is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration.
• Properly charge procedures using the hospital information system.
• Adapt and learn new protocols as new equipment is introduced.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in North Dakota
• Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine School
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration
