Electrophysiology Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, options: 3x12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
On Call/Weekend Requirement: None
Floating Requirement: None

Job Description

Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab performing cardiac EP studies, ablations (atrial flutter/fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia), cardioversion, device implants (pacemaker, defibrillator, Watchman, Aveir), device explants/lead extractions, and internal loop recorder procedures.
Average daily caseload: 18 cases.
Use Cerner and GE Cardiolab for charting; medication dispensing via Pyxis.
Scrubs provided.
Facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 748 staffed beds and recognized as a top heart and vascular center.
Flu vaccine required annually during flu season.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician, with experience within the last year.
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Experience with Cerner electronic health records.
