Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Position

Location: Ocala, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Overview

Backfill position in Respiratory Therapy unit (Unit 754)
Shift coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Every other weekend scheduling
Unit uses Meditech documentation system
Equipment includes GE R869 ventilators and V60 BiPAP machines
Patient care requires critical care experience; trauma experience preferred
Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) cover patient load without floating policy

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Critical care experience

Unit & Work Environment

Hospital-wide bed capacity: 323 beds (main campus) plus additional beds at nearby campus
Unit dress code: Pewter color solid scrubs
Experienced staff and advanced equipment available
Focus on patient experience in critical care settings

Additional Information

This is a travel assignment offering exposure to a multi-campus hospital system with a strong emergency care presence
Opportunity to work with advanced respiratory therapy technology and a skilled team
Schedule includes every other weekend coverage, supporting work-life balance
